Thirst and Mourn

You know all that I do…
You know it’s all for you.
If you were to ask me now
To be your ships frontal bow,
And take all your blows
—Change how water flows—
Well, I’d try my very best.
And I wouldn’t ever rest.
Not till over that water we flew;
And if you asked me to sit with you
I would do it forever more
Even facing a lions roar.
I would simply sit;
Maybe stare a bit.
For with you I’m lost in your eyes
And I’m found with your gasping sighs.
